The Levels

The Individual: the individual is at the top of the pyramid, and holds all the power. The power to choose, the power to consent, the power to act. The individual is free. With that freedom comes responsibility, the responsibility to respect the freedom of all other individuals. The People’s Union will support all individuals who know they are free and are willing to stand up for their freedom in their own lives and in their collaborations. This is the source of power of the entire union.

The Local Entity: the local entity may be an individual, or a group of individuals that are organized in a way that respects the freedom of all individuals within the group. The group thus recognizes that participation in the group is based on the consent of each individual. Whatever their particular agenda or focus, the local entities that respect the freedom of all individuals they interact with will be supported by the union.

The Electoral District Union: the electoral district union is a union of all consenting local entities within an electoral district. One Electoral District Facilitator will be responsible for organizing district union meetings and fostering cooperation and efforts to augment personal freedom within the district. In coordination with the facilitator, the Electoral District Support Team is the lynchpin of the entire People’s Union, as they will ensure that their constituents have a reliable human source to reach out to and communicate with, so they can bring to bear the knowledge and experiences that have been amassed throughout the country to those initiatives by individuals and entities within their district.

The Provincial Union: the provincial union is a union of all Electoral District Facilitators within a province. One Provincial Facilitator will be responsible for organizing provincial union meetings and fostering cooperation between districts within the province. 

The National Union: the national union is a union of all Provincial Facilitators in the country. One National Facilitator will be responsible for organizing national union meetings and fostering cooperation between provinces and territories within the country.

The Beauty of the Network

The beauty of the Decentralized Network structure is that infiltration and obfuscation is quite difficult if not impossible, since all the power remains with the individual. From the National level on up, there is no ‘influence’ or ‘directive,’ only the desire to provide the guidance that is requested and serve the cause of freedom. The decentralized network is modeled in nature, and demonstrates how this is the ideal structure for complex systems to operate in harmony, like the human body does, with independent and autonomous cells working in high-precision cooperation with each other.  

The byline of the People’s Union of Canada is ‘Walking away from tyranny, one step at a time.’ The union will work together to learn how to wrest back control over our lives, little by little, as we collectively expand our attention and life experiences within the budding new structures and institutions of the union, and gradually reduce our attention and life experiences in the old system. In a spirit of collaboration and cooperation, a body of best practices in creating institutions and other mechanisms founded on truth and freedom will be established in all areas that touch upon the quality of human life, including governance, law, health care, commerce, education, media, technology and leisure activities.
